David Sanders, Jaxson Moi receive final injury updates ahead of Georgia clash

Tennessee is once again receiving some rough luck on the injury front.
The Vols will face off against No. 6 Georgia without its presumed starting right tackle and starting defensive lineman, David Sanders and Jaxson Moi. Sanders has yet to play a snap of college football after being a surprise scratch against Syracuse, while Moi exited that Syracuse game and missed last week against ETSU.
As expected, CB Jermod McCoy, CB Rickey Gibson and DT Daevin Hobbs are also out for Saturday’s game, according to RockyTopInsider’s Ryan Schumpert. Tyree Weathersby, however, is active for Week 3.
Hobbs was expected to be out, but his absence is sneaky massive for Tennessee with Moi also out. The Vols are now thin at both cornerback and defensive tackle, 2 areas the Bulldogs offense can exploit and has exploited in the past with OC Mike Bobo.
The offensive line, at least as the Vols have shown this season, is a different story. The front unit for Tennessee has performed very well so far, but they’ll get a new challenge with a bigger and faster Georgia defensive line to go up against on Saturday.
Kickoff for today’s monster SEC clash is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
