Standing at 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, Stone will have no trouble fitting into the SEC. According to 247Sports composite, Stone is the No. 6 player nationally, the No. 2 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 3 player in the state of Florida.
Stone played for the coveted IMG Academy in high school, but is originally from Oklahoma City. His locality was likely a factor in his decision and will likely make him a fan-favorite off the bat.
With Oklahoma on its way to the SEC in 2024, the addition of Stone is sure to help the Sooners adjust to a new conference.
For now, Oklahoma is looking for one last solid season in the Big 12. The Sooners begin their season Sept. 2 against Arkansas State.
