The 2019 NFL Draft is coming up next month, and Georgia CB Deandre Baker is a borderline first-round candidate.

The ex-Bulldog hasn’t been overly impressive at the NFL Combine or at his Pro Day on Wednesday, but he hasn’t done anything to hurt his stock, either.

After his Wednesday performance, Baker said he still believes he’s the best corner in the draft. In fact, he said, he knows he’s the No. 1 corner (via the Associated Press):

“I know I’m the best cornerback in the draft,” Baker said. “I don’t just believe it, I know I’m the best.”

Baker has everything NFL teams should want in a corner, and has plenty of experience with the Bulldogs.

We’ll find out where he goes next month, but for now, he’s doing a little bit of lobbying for himself.
