Deandre Baker wasn’t about to let Deebo Samuel’s comments go unnoticed.

Georgia took South Carolina behind the woodshed in front of the Gamecocks’ home crowd to the tune of a 41-10 beating on Saturday, ending any doubt regarding which team controls the SEC East division early in the 2018 season. Baker played a huge role in the outcome, registering the first turnover of the game and returning the ball all the way to end zone.

Technically, Baker didn’t register a touchdown, as he dropped the football before entering the end zone but his teammate Juwan Taylor picked up the ball and got it in the end zone for the score.

During an interview during the week leading up to the game, Deebo Samuel was asked about matchup up with Baker. The South Carolina receiver’s initial response?

“Who?” Samuel asked.

Following Saturday’s game, Samuel should know the name Deandre Baker very well.

It’s clear by Baker’s response he wasn’t about to let that one go. Check out his response after Georgia dismantled the Gamecocks:

Ouch.
