Florida graduate assistant James Rowe is leaving the Gators to become the defensive coordinator at Valdosta State, according to a report from Football Scoop.

Rowe was tasked with helping coach the Gators secondary in 2015, and in case you missed it, the Florida defensive backs had a pretty good season.

Rowe will work under former Florida QB Kerwin Bell, who was named the head coach at Valdosta State this offseason after nine seasons as head coach at Jacksonville University.
