Former Texas A&M defensive assistant Mark Hagen has found a landing spot.

He’ll return to Indiana, where he was an All-Big Ten selection as a player, to coach the Hoosiers defensive line under head coach Kevin Wilson.

The university made it official on Wednesday afternoon:

Prior to coaching at Texas A&M from 2013-15, Hagen coached at Indiana.

Here’s what he had to say about his time in College Station and his return to Indiana, according to the school’s press release:

“It’s exciting to be able to come back home again,” Hagen said. “These last three years have been fun. It’s something I felt like I had to do a few years back, but being a part of Coach Wilson’s program again and getting on board on the front end with Coach Allen is something I could not pass up. I’m looking forward to the challenge of coaching the entire defensive line and building a championship defense.”
