Deion Sanders, Colorado get roasted after dismal first half against Oregon

Deion Sanders did not enjoy the first half of his first Pac-12 game.

On the road against No. 10 Oregon, Colorado went into the halftime break trailing 35-0. Oregon poured it on. The only time Colorado was able to stop the Oregon offense was a second-play interception on the Ducks’ fourth drive. Oregon scored touchdowns on its first three drives, and it scored touchdowns on the two drives after the pick.

Oregon outgained Colorado 378-21. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was sacked four times. What was that Tyson quote? Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth? Colorado took more than a couple of shots to the face.

Sanders and his team were taking plenty of hits on social media as well. There were a handful of media members who took a more measured approach to the first half, but there were plenty of others who were just waiting to fire off jokes after Sanders and the Buffs opened the season 3-0.
