For most 3-star quarterback recruits, scholarship offers aren’t newsworthy. Most 3-star quarterbacks, however, are not the son of a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
Shedeur Sanders, son of Deion Sanders, recently camped at Tennessee. Sunday, he shared a video recap of his visit to Rocky Top and revealed that it ended with an offer.
A 2021 recruit, Shedeur Sanders is listed at 6-2, 198 pounds. He is ranked as the No. 17 pro-style quarterback, No. 48 Texas product and No. 339 prospect overall in the 2021 class on the 247Sports Composite. Obviously, he has plenty of time to boost those ratings before his collegiate career begins.
In addition to interest from Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU, Shedeur also holds offers from his brother Shilo Sanders’ team, South Carolina, and his father’s alma mater, Florida State.
Check out his recap of his UT camp experience:
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee! GOD is AMAZING! Worked very hard for this, Hard work pays off. This is just the beginning! #2 @DemetricDWarren @CoachJPruitt @ChrisWeinke16 @DeionSanders @TCCHFootball @ahart49 @Striving4_ALott pic.twitter.com/SbZXPAs7cN
