One of the nation’s highest-rated uncommitted linebacker prospects has just announced his college commitment.
During a live ceremony on Thursday broadcast by CBS Sports HQ, four-star Florida native DeMario Tolan made his decision between LSU, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State and Miami.
The Orlando native is headed to Baton Rouge to play for Ed Orgeron.
A product of Dr. Phillips High School, Tolan is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 27 linebacker prospect in the country and a top 275 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Following this news, LSU now holds a total of 13 commitments in the 2022 recruiting cycle. LSU’s class currently ranks as the best class in the SEC and the No. 4 class in the country.
