Demetris Robertson is at it again for Auburn.

In the 2nd quarter of the Tigers’ game against the Hornets, the former Cal and Georgia wide receiver connected with Bo Nix for a touchdown from 6 yards out to give Auburn a 13-0 lead.

In the 3rd quarter, Robertson showed off his skills on the ground. After a Hornets fumble and pass interference call put the Tigers on the Alabama State 36 yard line, he took a reverse to the end zone as Auburn’s lead grew to 34-0.

That gave the Tigers some breathing room, and they added to it a few plays later as a Roger McCreary pick-6 saw the margin increase to 41-0.

The Hornets were expected to be a tuneup before the Tigers travel to Happy Valley to take on Penn State on Sept. 18, and despite some offensive difficulties in the 1st half, Auburn appears well on its way to improving to 2-0 under Bryan Harsin.

Auburn and Alabama State can be seen on the SEC Network.
