The Denver Broncos have decided to promote former Georgia WR Isaiah McKenzie back to the active roster.

The move comes from after a roster spot was created Wednesday when the team released former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly. McKenzie, a fifth-round pick by the Broncos in 2017, appeared in 11 games last season. He served primarily as a return specialist, but also caught four passes for 29 yards and recorded one rush for four yards.

Last season, fumble issues caused McKenzie to lose his job as the team’s punt returner. Hopefully his time on the practice squad has led to fixing that problem.

Denver’s next game is Sunday at 1 p.m. ET against the Kansas City Chiefs.
