Denver Broncos release former Georgia standout WR/KR Isaiah McKenzie

The Denver Broncos selected former Georgia KR/WR Isaiah McKenzie in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and he made an impact on special teams.
However, it appears it wasn’t much of an impact, as he is now without a job heading into Week 2 of the season.
As you can see in the tweet below, the Broncos released the ex-Bulldog on Monday afternoon:

McKenzie returned 21 punts and three kicks for the Broncos last season and also caught four passes.
Now, he’ll look for a new team before the 2018 season wears on for too long. Based on some of the film he’s put together, though, he should be picked up soon.
