Derek Mason admits Ke’Shawn Vaughn should have gotten more work in loss to UNLV

Star RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn was the lone bright spot in Vanderbilt’s 34-10 home loss to UNLV on Saturday.
On 15 carries, he ran for 140 yards and a touchdown. He also had 1 catch for 53 yards. Based on those numbers, it’s fair to wonder why he didn’t get more work.
On his weekly radio show on Monday night, coach Derek Mason admitted that Vaughn should have gotten a lot more touches:
"Some say Ke'Shawn should've gotten the ball 40 times, and you're right." – Derek Mason on coach's show

When you have 16 touches for 193 yards, it is definitely fair to wonder why you don’t get the ball more often. He was the only thing going right for the Commodores.
Will they give him the ball more this weekend against Missouri? We’ll find out on Saturday.
