Nation’s No. 2 CB Derek Stingley has 2 SEC schools in final 3

The Nation’s No. 2 overall CB Derek Stingley has a big decision to make.

On Monday, after boasting offers from many schools around the country, Stingley listed his final three, including two SEC teams — Florida and LSU. Texas was the only non-SEC program that made the cut.

The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native will be a tough pull away from LSU for either Florida or Texas, but it’s happened before. Listed at 6-foot-1, 193 pounds, Stingley is rated a 5-star CB and ranked as the nation’s No. 25 overall player and the state’s No. 3 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
