Talented Florida RB Deshaun Fenwick commits to South Carolina

South Carolina dipped into the Sunshine State and nabbed a commitment from three-star running back Deshaun Fenwick Wednesday, according to 247Sports.
Listed at 6-foot-3, 208 pounds, the Bradenton, Florida, native is a bigger body who has a chance to grow into a big back, and he’ll certainly pack on some weight to his nice frame. He’s ranked as the country’s No. 9 all-purpose back for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Fenwick posted 755 yards rushing and six touchdowns in 2016, while adding 278 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
Fenwick boasted offers from Georgia, Ole Miss and Missouri, among others, but he pulled the trigger for the Gamecocks. His primary recruiter is Running Backs Coach Bobby Bentley.
He became the Gamecocks’ first commitment from Florida and the fifth overall in the recruiting class.
