Desmond Howard trolled by Georgia Tech after incorrect College GameDay pick
By Sydney Hunte

Desmond Howard picked Georgia State to defeat Georgia Tech on Saturday’s College GameDay. He ended up being wrong, and the Yellow Jackets’ social media team made sure to let him know.
Howard noted the number of Power 5 players on the Panthers’ roster, making the case that Dell McGee’s team could measure up to the Jackets.
Problem was, that’s not what happened: Georgia Tech led 14-3 at halftime and eventually pulled away for a 35-12 win. Haynes King threw 2 touchdown passes — completing 24 of his 29 attempts for 275 yards — and added a 3rd touchdown on the ground while Jamal Haynes had 17 carries for 84 yards and a score. Malik Rutherford had 7 catches for 131 yards, including a touchdown on a badly blown defensive assignment.
On Sunday, the Yellow Jackets’ X account posted this zinger:

Life is good for Brent Key and his program, who are now 2-0 for the first time since 2016. They look to make it 3-0 as they travel to Syracuse for a Week 2 matchup.
