One of the biggest news stories of the past couple of months in the college football world was NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders getting hired at Jackson State.

His opening press conference was a spectacle to behold, and now we know a little bit more about his contract with the school.

Per reporter Matt Brown of Extra Points, Sanders will make $300,000 per year ($1.2 million for 4 seasons). He also gets some unusual bonuses, including $100,000 if Jackson State moves to a new conference:

He interestingly also gets a cut of ticket sales (10% if the game has more than 30,000 tickets sold) as part of his deal.

It’s only fitting that one of the most interesting coaches in the country also has one of the most interesting contracts.
