Devon Achane named Week 13 Maxwell Award Player of the Week

Devon Achane was named the Week 13 Maxwell Player of the Week for his insane efforts in a Texas A&M win over LSU last Saturday. Achane has been a constant threat for the Aggies all season, one of few players who can say that in College Station this year.
Achane totaled 38 carries for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns in the blowout win of the No. 5 Tigers.

Achane has quietly been doing things similar to this all season. He’s totaled 1,102 rushing yards with 8 touchdowns, also hauling in 36 passes for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns on the year. His season is done in College Station. The Aggies failed to qualify for a bowl bid despite beating the Tigers in Week 13.
Talk about going out with a bang, though.
