Dimitry Nicolas announced his commitment to an SEC program on social media Friday. He will be joining a first-year coach in the Southeastern Conference.
Nicolas is a 3-star DL via the 2024 class. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 54 DL. Nicolas is from Opa Locka (Fla.) Norland.
Nicolas decided to join Hugh Freeze at Auburn. He comes in at 6-foot-3, 295 pounds, according to 247Sports.

The other SEC teams who were interested in Nicolas were Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.
Nicolas is now the second DL to commit to Auburn from the 2024 class. Nicolas joins 3-star commit Malik Blocton.
Freeze joins Auburn after spending the last few seasons coaching at Liberty. Freeze last coached in the SEC for Ole Miss from 2012-2016.
It wasn’t an ideal season for Auburn last year as it missed out on a bowl game at 5-7. The Tigers parted ways with Bryan Harsin during the season and handed the reigns over to interim HC Cadillac Williams.
Williams was retained on the staff and will be the associate HC/RB coach this season.
