DJ Chester is taking his talents to the bayou. The blue-chip offensive lineman out of Georgia announced his commitment to LSU on Thursday morning.
Chester picked up 34 scholarship offers in his recruitment. He narrowed it down to 6 finalists, committing to Brian Kelly’s program over Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida State, Florida A&M and Michigan.
During his commitment announcement, Chester said that LSU felt the most like home. He also said he looks forward to the track and field opportunities at LSU, in addition to playing football.
Chester is listed at 6-5, 300 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Chester is rated 4-stars, the No. 10 Georgia recruit, No. 13 offensive tackle and No. 138 prospect overall in the class of 2023.
