The freshman Gators QB connected with top receiver Elijhah Badger for the opening score of Saturday’s Week 13 matchup. Lagway’s throw was on the money, and gave Badger just enough space to toe tap the right side of the end zone.
Take a look at Badger’s 4th touchdown reception of the season:

It wasn’t just this throw though. Lagway has been very impressive to start Saturday’s contest against what has been one of the better defensive units in college football this season. So far, the freshman is 4/5 for 58 yards and the above TD connection.
What a wonder getting healthy can do, huh?
Florida has come to play today, and not just on the offensive end. The Gators defense set up this touchdown by holding Ole Miss out of the end zone, stuffing Rebels lineman JJ Pegues on 4th down. For some reason, the Rebels decided to throw Jaxson Dart in front of Pegues as a lead blocker. It went how you’d expect.

Ole Miss was able to answer soon after the above touchdown. Dart, bouncing back from his whiffed block, hit star receiver Tre Harris in stride for a 43-yard TD connection to make it a 7-7 ballgame.
