DJ Lagway came up clutch in the final minute of regulation against Tennessee on Saturday night.

The Gators led 10-0 at one point, but Tennessee stormed back with a 17-0 run following an injury to UF quarterback Graham Mertz. However, Florida had just enough in the tank to force overtime.

Lagway found Chimere Dike from 27 yards out in the end zone to tie the game at 17-all. Florida initially lined up to go for the 2-point conversion with 29 seconds left in the game, but ended up kicking the extra point after Tennessee called timeout.

To make Lagway’s big play even more impressive, it came when Florida was facing a 3rd and 18.

Here’s a replay of Lagway’s clutch TD throw:

It was a rough start to the game for Lagway, who threw an interception on the first series after Mertz’s injury. However, he was able to redeem himself with that touchdown pass on Florida’s final drive of regulation.

Florida has won 17 of the last 19 games in this series.
