DJ Wesolak, 4-star edge rusher from Missouri, announces college decision

DJ Wesolak, ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 14 edge rusher in the class of 2022, will be staying close to home for his college career.
Wesolak announced on CBS Sports HQ on Wednesday that he would remain in state and sign with Missouri. The Tigers were among a group of 5 finalists that included Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and USC.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder from Boonville High School, just west of Columbia, is considered a 4-star recruit and the No. 4 player in the Show-Me State regardless of position. He also ranks just inside of the top 200 nationally.
Mizzou’s recruiting class currently sits at No. 11 nationally, the highest ranking in school history.
