DK Metcalf was pick No. 64 in the 2019 NFL Draft. The former Ole Miss standout is showing some teams messed up letting him fall so low.

Seattle’s star rookie had an incredible touchdown catch in Sunday’s Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. On the play, Metcalf burns the coverage, extends to haul in the deep ball from Russell Wilson, makes the catch and shows the awareness to bounce back up and motor his way into the end zone for the touchdown. The 53-yard play can be viewed below in the clip from The Checkdown:

Metcalf was already having a strong showing in his postseason debut before the highlight TD. In the third quarter, he was 6 catches (on 7 targets) for 124 yards.

The Seahawks currently lead 17-9. The game can be seen on NBC.
