Donte Jackson, former LSU DB, snags one-handed INT vs. Falcons

They don’t call LSU ‘DBU’ for no reason. And while the Tigers secondary hasn’t looked as bolstered lately as it typically does, there is no denying the program has produced several talented safeties and cornerbacks.

Take Atlanta Falcons defensive back Donte Jackson as a prime example of that. And he made that plenty apparent in Sunday’s matchup between the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons with this spectacular one-handed interception off of former Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Here’s a look at the play:

Jackson finished out his LSU career with 82 solo tackles, 28 assists, 4 interceptions and 1 sack and has clearly translated over well to the NFL.

The Panthers currently lead the Falcons, 3-0 at the bottom of the 1st quarter.
