Former LSU DB Donte Jackson is now with the Carolina Panthers, but he still keeps a close eye on his former school.
You can bet he’ll be watching on Monday night when the Tigers take on the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff title game, and you can bet he’ll be rooting for LSU.
Recently, Jackson said he’s confident coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers can get the job done (via 247Sports):
“Just remember what you’re playing for,” Jackson said. “I can’t just sit here and say what they should do but they should remember what they’re playing for. Come out with a chip on your shoulder because that team (Clemson) is going to be ready.
“I can’t wait to see my guys take the championship. We are going to get it done.”
Will LSU indeed get the job done? We’ll find out on Monday night!
