New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees has put together an incredible career, rewriting the NFL passing record books.
On Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts, Brees set the career touchdown pass record, throwing his 540th midway through the third quarter.
That pass broke Peyton Manning’s career record of 539, giving Brees sole possession of first place in the history books:

Brees already has 4 touchdown passes on 28-for-29 passing for 309 yards and the third quarter just ended. The Saints lead the Colts 34-0.
Four different receivers have caught touchdowns, and the Saints are rolling to an easy win. What a night in New Orleans for Brees and for the NFL.
