The Drew Lock era in Denver is off to a great start.
Lock, who was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Broncos, made his first career start Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, and late in the first quarter, he had already thrown his first touchdown pass.
Lock hit wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who made a ridiculous 26-yard catch in the end zone. Later in the first quarter, Lock has completed 9-of-13 passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Lock later hit Sutton again for his second career touchdown catch.

Lock had been on injured reserve since the start of the season, and he was just activated Saturday. He became the Broncos third starting quarterback this season after Joe Flacco (now on injured reserve) and Brandon Allen.
The Broncos are currently 3-8 and are ranked 28th in the NFL in scoring.
Lock took the majority of the snaps this past week in practice, and he got the starting nod Sunday. What a way to start his NFL career.
