Three-star defensive lineman Dylan Jackson decommitted to Tennessee Monday, less than one year after announcing his commitment. The Maryville native pledged to the Vols in January and took several unofficial visits to the UT campus this past season.

LSU is a favorite to earn Jackson’s commitment following the lineman’s decision to reopen his recruitment. The Tigers have just one defensive lineman committed for 2015 and hosted Jackson and his parents during an official visit on Oct. 17.

The Tigers also sent coaches for in-home visits with Jackson and to play spectators for Maryville High School’s state championship game during the past two weeks. The senior is also considering Stanford after taking an official visit on Sept. 5.
