Earl Little Jr. has committed to Florida State.

Little, formerly of the Alabama Crimson Tide, announced on social media that he will be continuing his college career with the Seminoles. Little was heavily recruited by the Noles back in 2022 before signing with the Tide.

Little played sparingly during 2 seasons at Alabama. The defensive back saw time in 8 games  in 2023, recording 2 tackles and mostly playing on special teams. The Noles are hoping a change of scenery can help out the young defensive back.

Little should have a clearer path to playing time next season, as the Noles have seen defensive backs Akeem Dent, Renardo Green and Jarrian Jones declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. The addition of Little gives the team depth and some experience in the back end.

The Noles have been busy in the transfer portal. The team has recently added former Georgia defensive end Marvin Jones Jr,  former Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, and former LSU wide receiver Jalen Brown over the last few weeks.
