Early lines for SEC games of the year released

One Las Vegas sports book likes Alabama to beat Ole Miss this season, but thinks the Tigers will top the Crimson Tide in Death Valley.

South Point Casino released its early betting lines for the biggest games of the year, and the SEC is well-represented on the list. With Week 1 lines previously released, South Point’s new lines begin with the Sept. 10 slate.

Week 2

  • TCU -6 vs. Arkansas

Week 3

  • Alabama -3 vs. Ole Miss

Week 4

  • Arkansas -1.5 vs. Texas A&M

Week 5

  • Tennessee vs. Georgia: Pick ‘Em

Week 7

  • Alabama -3.5 vs. Tennessee

Week 9

  • Georgia -1 vs. Florida
  • Ole Miss -12 vs. Auburn

Week 10

  • LSU -3 vs. Alabama

Week 11

  • LSU -5.5 vs. Arkansas

Week 13

  • Florida State -11 vs. Florida
  • Alabama -18 vs. Auburn
  • Georgia -11 vs. Georgia Tech
  • Louisville -16.5 vs. Kentucky
  • Ole Miss -12 vs. Mississippi State

According to WagerTalk.com, the line represents the first time LSU has been favored against Alabama since 2007. The site also notes it’s the third-largest Iron Bowl line to favor Alabama since 1980 (-21 in 2011, -34 in 2012).
