As if the LSU Tigers needed any more bad news, head coach Ed Orgeron announced that 5 Tigers will miss this weekend’s contest against McNeese.
The Tigers will be without 2 of their starting linemen, Austin Deculus and Cam Wire, in addition to WR Jontre Kirklin and defenders Ali Gaye and Soni Fonua:

No word of what the injuries may be, but after the way the Tigers line played against UCLA, this is news is not what LSU needed to hear.
The Tigers O-line at times struggled against the Bruins giving up two sacks Saturday in their loss. Although Tigers quarterback Max Johnson threw for 330 yards and three touchdown passes, the Tigers only rushed for a combined 49 yards on the ground.
Orgeron also announced that linebacker Jared Small is out for the season and defensive back Jay Ward is doubtful for Saturday, but added he will know more on Ward’s status Friday.

DB Jay Ward is doubtful, but Orgeron should know more on him Friday. #LSU
