As LSU prepares to host McNeese at Tiger Stadium on Saturday, head coach Ed Orgeron will look to have some members of his offense available that didn’t participate against UCLA.

One of those players is running back Tre Bradford, who played for the Tigers in 2020 before transferring to Oklahoma. However, per reports on Tuesday, he ended up re-enrolling at the university.

Orgeron discussed the availability of Bradford on Thursday. According to The Advocate’s Scott Rabalais, the sophomore practiced with the team on Thursday, with Orgeron looking to find out Friday if the Dallas native can play against McNeese.

Another name that was brought up was John Emery, who was academically ineligible for the season opener. But Orgeron said that the junior, who was the Tigers’ 2nd-leading rusher a season ago, will play if deemed able to do so. Finally, freshman Armoni Goodwin, a former 4-star recruit, “will play” against McNeese on Saturday, per Orgeron, after an injury held him out against the Bruins.

Saturday’s kickoff between the Tigers and Cowboys from Death Valley is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
