LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron is being talked about as the potential full-time head coach of the Tigers. It’s not the first time Orgeron has been a successful interim coach and potential permanent head coach.
Three years ago at USC, the Trojans were 6-2 under Orgeron after Lane Kiffin’s dismissal. Many believed Orgeron was deserving of the job, and the coach himself publicly lobbied for the job. Orgeron appeared on ESPN radio’s “Russilio & Kanell” Friday afternoon, and the 2013 season at Southern Cal was among the topics brought up.

It is certainly difficult to imagine Orgeron hanging with a California country club crowd.
