Eddrick Houston’s finalists and commitment date were announced on social media on Sunday. On3 Sports’ Hayes Fawcett broke the news.

Houston’s finalists are Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, and USC. He will be committing to one of them on Tuesday.

The DL from Buford, Georgia is a 5-star prospect via the 2024 class. The 247Sports Composite has him ranked as the No. 4 DL and No. 6 prospect out of Georgia.

He comes in at 6-foot-4, 270 pounds.

It’s no surprise that Houston has Georgia as one of his finalists as he is from Buford. The SEC teams who have also show interest in him include Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Alabama has two DLs signed up from the 2024 class. 4-star commit Jeremiah Beaman and 3-star commit Isaia Faga are committed to the Crimson Tide as it stands.

If Houston ends up going with the in-state Bulldogs, he would be the sixth DL to commit to Kirby Smart’s 2024 class.

Houston has competed in a wide variety of sports. Besides football, Houston also wrestles and competes in track and field for his high school. The Buford native took snaps at TE last season as well.

Here’s a highlight clip of Houston from one of his more recent games:
