Edwin Diaz gives stamp of approval to his entrance music being used at Alabama: ‘Roll Tide’

Edwin Diaz has made the song “Narco” by Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet very popular this season with the New York Mets.
That’s because the All-Star closer uses it as his entrance music when he comes in to close out a Mets victory.
On Saturday, Alabama used the song, too, setting it to the stadium’s LED light show as the band played. That didn’t sit well with some fans, particularly since there are many Atlanta Braves fans in Tuscaloosa.
But, on Sunday morning, Diaz himself weighed in, giving Alabama his stamp of approval and adding a “Roll Tide!” for good measure:

“Alabama football does look great,” Diaz says. “Roll Tide!”
With Diaz on board, perhaps the Tide will continue using the popular song during games. We’ll have to wait until Week 3 to find out, though, as Alabama takes a trip to Texas to face the Longhorns in a highly anticipated game next weekend.
