The 6-7, 243-pound Jenkins was a 2-star tight end out of high school in the class of 2017. He played for St. Francis before transferring to South Carolina in 2021.
Last season, Jenkins appeared in 12 games and made 1 start. He recorded 8 catches for 117 yards and 1 touchdown.
After spring practice, Jenkins entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He pledged to Georgia Tech in May.
The Clemson-Georgia Tech game is currently airing on ESPN. Plenty of South Carolina fans are cheering for Jenkins and the Yellow Jackets to come back from the 17-10 deficit in the third quarter.
