Going into No. 25 Missouri‘s Week 3 matchup vs. visiting Louisiana, head coach Eli Drinkwitz is assessing the offensive line play through the first 2 games.
In the season-opening 61-6 victory vs. Central Arkansas, Missouri allowed just 1 sack and the rushing attack went for 219 yards and 4 scores. Last Saturday in the 42-31 victory vs. rival Kansas in the Border War, Missouri gave up 4 sacks and ran for 261 yards and 2 scores.

Drinkwitz believes the biggest key for the offensive line is communication and continuity to develop to form a cohesive unit.
“I will say I was proud of the improvement that that group made from Week 1 to Week 2…The name of the game is improvement and those guys know it,” Drinkwitz said. “They know I didn’t feel good about it.”
Missouri will aim to get even sharper along the offensive line against the 1-1 Ragin’ Cajuns out of the Sun Belt. Louisiana is coming off a 34-10 victory vs. McNeese. The Ragin’ Cajuns rushed for 315 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.
This is the first-ever meeting between Missouri and Louisiana. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. ET from Memorial Stadium and the game will be televised on ESPN+/SEC Network+.
