Eli Drinkwitz incorrectly believed Mizzou had beaten Auburn with game-winning FG in OT
When Mizzou‘s potential game-winning field goal against Auburn missed wide left, Eli Drinkwitz was one of the last people in the stadium to realize it.
The Tigers only needed 3 points after Auburn missed its potential go-ahead kick in its first overtime possession. Mizzou looked to have the win sealed, but freshman kicker Robert Meyer hooked it.

Mizzou is trying to avoid a second consecutive SEC loss. The Tigers fell at home to Alabama last weekend, but a win over Auburn on Saturday would keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive and well for another week.
Auburn is still seeking its first SEC victory of the season.
