Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers suffered a delay of game in the closing seconds of the game against Kansas State, as the Tigers attempted to line up a field goal. But moments later, Drinkwitz delivered a signature win in a game that had the first sell-out crowd in his Mizzou tenure.

Kansas State called timeout as Mizzou tried to run another play on offense to gain back yards lost from the penalty.

Drinkwitz initially called timeout with 35 seconds left, as the Tigers gained their own 35-yard line. Then the Tigers gained the K-State 39-yard line before a spike, and then a Wildcats’ timeout.

But on 2nd and 10, Mizzou was still in a sideline huddle as the game clock went to the final seconds, and was called for a delay of game penalty.

Then Harrison Mevis nailed a 61-yard field goal as time expired to win 30-27.
