Eli Drinkwitz is focused on the 2022 season for the Missouri Tigers, but nationally, realignment talk is dominating headlines.

With USC and UCLA announcing an upcoming move to the Big Ten, many are speculating what conferences will look like when the realignment carousel stops spinning.

At SEC Media Days on Monday, Drinkwitz was asked about the Tigers potentially leaving the SEC for the Big Ten. He dismissed the question, joking no one haas asked him about being traded to the Big Ten:

So, there you have it. No, the Tigers aren’t leaving the SEC. As Mizzou continues to fight to prove to some fans that it belongs in the SEC, the Tigers and Drinkwitz are gearing up for an important 2022 season.

Drinkwitz will speak to reporters in Atlanta on Monday afternoon to wrap up Day 1 of SEC Media Days.
