Missouri lost another tough game on Saturday, falling at Florida, 24-17.
The loss marked a 3rd in consecutive weeks in which the Tigers had their chances to win.
Two weeks ago they gave away a win in an overtime loss at Auburn and last week led Georgia for much of the game before falling 26-22 to the Bulldogs.
Missouri outgained Florida by nearly 100 yards (380 to 297) in Saturday’s game and played well defensively.
But a pair of Brady Cook interceptions, one of which was returned by Jaydon Hill for a touchdown, and a blown red zone opportunity late in the 1st half proved to be too much to overcome.

The Tigers dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in SEC play with the loss.
After the game, Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz offered his thoughts on his team’s play:
On where the Tigers go from here:
Drinkwitz on what #Mizzou can take away from this game: "There was growth. … There's some things we're getting better at, but we're not getting the results."

On the final outcome:

On suffering another tough loss:
Drinkwitz: "It's not a lack of effort, it's not a lack of fight. Just gotta find a way." #Mizzou

On Florida’s ability to run the ball after halftime:
Drinkwitz said #Mizzou struggled with gap fits and tackling in the second half. He also lamented the 4th and 2 play that the team had covered but let Richardson escape. "Missed opportunities on both sides of the ball."

On whether he thought about replacing Cook during the game:
I asked Drinkwitz if he considered a QB change today – like he did at K-State. “No.”
