Eli Drinkwitz recently appeared on ESPN’s Marty & McGee ahead of Mizzou’s showdown with Vanderbilt.

McGee mentioned that Mizzou QB Brady Cook has gone 10 games without throwing an INT. The last time the QB threw a pick was against Vanderbilt in October of last year.

While impressed, Drinkwitz was not too keen on talking about the stat.

“It’s like having a no-no, you don’t talk about it,” explained Drinkwitz.

“He’s being a smart, disciplined decision-maker which is the hallmark of a good quarterback,” Drinkwitz explained. “It’s the way he just continually grows as a player and as a quarterback.”

Cook has led the Tigers to a perfect 4-0 record so far, with the first SEC test of the season on Saturday at Vanderbilt. In 2023, Cook has thrown for 1,073 yards, 7 TDs, 0 INTs, and a 74.0 QBR. Cook has also contributed 3 rushing TDs.

The 4-0 Tigers have wins over South Dakota, Middle Tennessee, Kansas State, and Memphis. The real test now begins, however, as the Tigers have 8-straight SEC games to end the season.
