Eli Drinkwitz shared an emotional send off to his seniors ahead of Missouri’s senior game against Florida on Saturday.
In a video posted to social media, Drinkwitz praised his senior class for all they’ve done in their time at Missouri.

“If stick-to-it-ness was a word, or grit, I think that to me are the words that would describe this senior class,” Drinkwitz said.
He praised his seniors for leaving a legacy that will last longer than their time at Missouri did and for the impact they made on the entire Missouri community.
“I would just say thank you,” Drinkwitz said. “Thank you first for staying, for believing, for choosing to be here. Thank you for inviting the core values that we preach about all the time. Thank you for developing elite edge. The things that y’all have done, not only on the football field, but in the community, are gonna be impactful for a long time, to the University of Missouri, to the state of Missouri and to the rest of this country.”
This senior class at Missouri has been through a lot. Many of them were with the team during the coaching transition from Barry Odom to Eli Drinkwitz in 2020. The Tigers have had some rough reasons over the past 4 years, but now they’re being rewarded with an outstanding season and the chance to appear in a New Year’s 6 bowl game.
“They’ve had some really low lows, and now they’ve experienced some really high highs,” Drinkwitz said. “I’m very proud of them just for sticking to it and having that stubborn refusal to quit.”
