Former Ole Miss great Eli Manning has agreed to a four-year, $84 million extension with the New York
Giants, several media outlets reported Friday.

The deal has not be finalized by Manning’s signature, but that’s expected to happen later today. In 11 NFL seasons (all in New York), the two-time Super Bowl MVP has thrown 39,755 yards. Manning has 259 career touchdown passes.

The former No. 1 pick in 2004 has said several times that he would like to finish his career in the Big Apple. This deal, featuring $65 million guaranteed, would make Manning the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback, topping Philip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger.

At Ole Miss, Manning won several national awards and finished third in Heisman voting in 2003.
