Eli Ricks had an up-and-down 2022 season at Alabama after transferring to the Crimson Tide from LSU.

There were some games where Ricks didn’t play at all. In others, he looked like a superstar and a lockdown cornerback.

Now, Ricks will ply his trade at the next level. On Tuesday, Ricks revealed on Twitter that he was forgoing the rest of his college eligibility to enter the 2023 NFL Draft:

Ricks was getting plenty of Round 1 buzz earlier this year, but it seems his stock has fallen a bit recently after his up-and-down 2022 season. We’ll see if he can perform well at the NFL Combine and Alabama’s Pro Day to get back in the first-round discussion.
