After signing the nation’s No. 1 class for the 2021 recruiting cycle — the Crimson Tide’s 2021 haul was rated as the greatest collection of signees in the history of the recruiting services — Nick Saban’s Alabama program is already off to a fast start building up the 2022 class.
On Friday, Alabama added its third commitment for the 2022 recruiting cycle as Dayton, Ohio native Elijah Brown announced his pledge to join Saban’s program. Brown commits to Alabama over scholarship offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin, among others.
The Wayne High School standout is currently rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 13 tight end in the country and a top 300 overall prospect according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Brown joins four-star Alabama linebacker Robert Woodyard and Louisiana defensive lineman Walter Bob as the only recruits currently committed to in the 2022 recruiting cycle to the Crimson Tide.
Despite only holding three pledges at this time, Alabama’s 2022 class still ranks as a top 25 recruiting cycle following Brown’s commitment.
