Ole Miss vs. Kentucky is set to be one of the headlining games in Week 5.
Both teams enter with a 4-0 record, with the Wildcats ranked 7th and the Rebels ranked 14th. The Rebels will be looking for a 3rd straight win in the cross-divisional series as the 2 teams meet for the first time since 2020, a wild game ending in an overtime victory that stood as Lane Kiffin’s first win as Ole Miss head coach. On top of that, Saturday is the annual Homecoming game.
The Rebels on Friday released a hype video narrated by former program standout Elijah Moore, now with the New York Jets. Moore remembers the 2020 game well: he was on the other end of Matt Corral’s touchdown pass in overtime before Kentucky’s eventual missed extra point after a score on its ensuing possession.
