Elijah Simmons’ reputation in Knoxville continues to get bigger and bigger.

That’s not easy considering the 6-foot-2, 320-pound redshirt freshman has already been featured during the highlight of the NFL’s offseason.

The anticipation for what the Nashville native could do on Rocky Top really got going when the hulking lineman made an appearance on the NFL Draft stage during the 2019 event that took place on Broadway in Music City.

Simmons being shown on television resulted in Houston Texans star JJ Watt clamoring for his team to select the high school lineman in the draft.

Now, Simmons is going viral for another reason — his incredible singing voice.

As JT Clifton poetically put it, Simmons is the usher of defensive tackles.

Check out the lineman’s singing voice in the clip below:

Even Trey Smith appreciated the comment from Clifton:

During his freshman season at Tennessee, Simmons appeared in three games for the Vols and redshirted in 2019.

Look for his role to grow this season, as Simmons has already made his first appearance of the 2020 season in the opener against South Carolina.
