Tunmise Adeleye is a sought after defensive lineman across the SEC, and he recently narrowed his list to three schools.
The 6-foot-3 and 245-pound defensive lineman from Katy, Texas tweeted that his finalists are Alabama, Florida and Texas A&M. Adeleye is rated the No. 5 strong-side defensive end and the No. 32 overall player in the country in the Class of 2021, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
“At this point I’m not pushing my timeline forward,” he said in late September, per Bama OnLine. “My decision will occur on Early Signing Day.”
Here’s a glimpse at his scouting report, per 247Sports:
“Athletically built defensive lineman with thick core and thin ankles. Played junior year around 265 but has since dropped 20-25 pounds. Possesses adequate to above average height. No verified wingspan but looks long on the hoof. Frame potential allows for possible multi-position fit in varied schemes. Flashes impressive strength at the point of attack. A bull in the phone booth who can drive offensive linemen into the pocket and stalemate double teams. Shows power to punch and shed in the run game. O-linemen must respect his swim move vs. pass or run. Plays with good pad level and leverage.”
For next 3-4 years I’ll be taking my talents to… 🐘🐊👍🏾 pic.twitter.com/vgzgezdPI8
